Hello guys. I noticed that there's not too many gals on here...I figure I'd put in my two coppers....
The LARP I belong to is called Epoch Toronto, I've been a member for two years, going on my third season.
I play a human raised cat-race character called Ka'Kuta Kiera-Oona. (there is a photo in my album of my character for those who want to see)
This is a action larp, so yes, boffers are involved.
If any of you guys south of the border ever want to come and hang with us, by all means get a hold of us. We do have people from Detroit who play with us too.
The website is www.epoch-larp.ca
There's also a division of NERO up here too. I would try it out, but I can only afford one larp at a time.

There are way too few of us lady LARPers. Although, in fairness, in our club (I'm a member of Epoch Toronto, too), the male:female ratio is nearly even. -

Re: LARPing in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Wed, March 1, 2006 - 4:15 AMI started LARPing in '95 out here in California. Back then there were PLENTY of gals chasing the Ann Rice novels that they wanted to play with the boys.
I rememer it lost it's luster to most of the ladies over time... While I haven't LARP'd in about 3 years, I hear y'all are making a strong comeback in the various games. -
