- "Stick-jock" groups that basically want to sling foam and don't care much for characterization, role-playing or even magic. &#xD;
- "Drama major" groups that take the "role-playing" more seriously and not so much the combat. &#xD;

    I see what you eman here and I ahve to agree with you.  I want more Role play in what i am looking for.  I am in the SCA.  The Stick Jock play is good, but come on,    ( smile)</summary>

    <summary type="html">Yes, I have played NERO, and a few other LARPs.  I was a story teller in a World of Darkness LARP back in the day.   My hope was to find a fantasy LARP in the Charlotte, NC area.  If finding one does not work, I will ahve to make one happen one way or the other</summary>
