I think it's pretty clear that theatrical style (MET or otherwise) is the way to go, even though there are some spectacular boffer-style things at BMan. Old style WW:Met based. It goes 36 straight hours in theory, but since people tend to do other things (like sleep) when the sun is out, real play is mostly evening/night. Response is pretty positive from people who like the style/system. However, since WOD has jumped the shark/drank the koolade, I don't expect much this year. I don't use the new shit and some people reject the old venues. I didn't head the LARPs, I just tried to keep it from getting out of hand. I run an ongoing V:tM chronicle here in the Detroit area, so people like to have me around. You may have seen us running around in character and not even known it. Good RPers can be pretty subtle with non-players.
